Quetzalcoatl

UV-Reactive Acrylic on canvas,
27 inches wide by 43 inches tall

Quetzalcoatl is a Mesoamerican deity whose name comes from the Nahuatl language and means “feathered serpent”. According to the Aztecs, Quetzalcoatl was related to gods of the wind, of the planet Venus, of the dawn, of merchants and of arts, crafts and knowledge. He was also the patron god of the Aztec priesthood, of learning and knowledge. All of these traits connect with my spirit... and I also really like dragons.

Moonlit Players

Moonlit Players

Acrylic on canvas,
30 inches wide by 40 inches tall

Before I was a full-time freelance artist I worked as an art director for a stringed instrument maker. I created this piece in the moonlit hours and hung it in my office. It has also been on exhibit at a fine wine cafe in Rockville, Maryland. And now, it can liven up your home.

Communion

Communion

Acrylic on board,
24 inches wide by 36 inches tall

I am constantly filling up sketchbooks with my doodles. The lucky ones I turn into paintings. This piece started out as a doodle of a pac-man inspired guy in a business suit with a frog-like tongue reaching for a power-pellet. However, my sister, Jeanne, saw a spiritual quality to the painting and suggested the title "Communion" which I think works well.
